Audio Video Surveillance Systems (CCTV)
monitoring of the behavior, activities, or other changing information, usually of people for the purpose of influencing, managing, directing, or protecting. Surveillance is therefore an ambiguous practice, sometimes creating positive effects, at other times negative. It is sometimes done in a surreptitious manner.
Fire & Gas Systems
An automatic fire alarm system is designed to detect the unwanted presence of fire by monitoring environmental changes associated with combustion. In general, a fire alarm system is classified as either automatically actuated, manually actuated, or both.

Tombak Engineering & Services Sdn. Bhd. (Tombak) was incorporated in 30th June 1997 as an engineering & services company. Started as a (S.I) System Integrator, we have involved in many projects related to Safety and Security (Audio Video Surveillance Systems, Card Access Systems and Fire Detection Systems), Information Technologies. Thus we have developed experiences in areas concerning audio, video, security and surveillance system, data communication and controls application.

Tombak have provided its products and services to mostly education institutions and Oil & Gas companies. We have successfully completed several network cabling works in various local universities and also we have successfully supply and installed a few engineering software to engineering faculty in many local universities such as UM, UPM, UKM and USM. In addition we have developed in-house corporate purchasing, human resource, e-learning software.

    DeXcam Family
    The new Dexcam Series can be connected to analogue CCTV systems or digital networks. Colour camera, zoom lens, pan and tilt mechanisms are all combined in a single compact unit. When the cameras are connected to an Ethernet network, you can operate it and monitor its images from a personal computer. Or, you can use a model with an analogue composite signal as part of your existing surveillance systems using coaxial cable.


    Video Server/Encoder
    he VPort 461 1-channel industrial video encoder with H.264 video compression algorithm provides the best video quality on the market, but with a smaller bandwidth requirement than other video compression standards. In addition, to meet various video stream requirements, the VPort 461 can provide up to 3 video streams simultaneously with H.264 and MJPEG compression format. Video streams can be used for different purposes, such as viewing, recording, and analyzing, and the industrial rugged design, which includes a -40 to 75°C operating temperature, IP30 form factor protection, and industrial certifications, make the VPort 461 suitable for harsh environments. The VPort 461 is equipped with Moxa’s innovative DynaStream™ function for decreasing the bandwidth consumption of your video transmissions. DynaStream™ can reduce or increase the video frame rate automatically to make the video stream controllable by the system and system adminstrator.


    Video Decoder
    The VPort D361 is a 1-channel video decoder for decoding H.264/MJPEG video streams from VPort series video encoders and VPort IP cameras back to analog video signals. The analog video signal can be sent to legacy CCTV devices, such as monitors, multiplexers, and matrix switches, which can be used as originally intended as part of CCTV systems. In addition, bi-directional audio enables ready-to-use voice-over-IP communication between the video encoder and decoder. Monitoring your cameras that are part of a large CCTV system is easy with the VPort D361, which can be set up to switch between different video sources either manually or automatically within a given time interval. Up to 64 video sources can be included in the list. In addition, the 2 DIs located on the top panel of the VPort D361 can be used to create 2 control buttons for up and down video source selection.
